Little Train Engineer

I began gathering information on trains when my son was 8 months old, that is when  he took his first step while he was holding on to the Train Table.  IMG_6562

I tried everything to motivate my son to take his first step.  All he needed was a wooden train to motivate him.

After he turned one, he always asked me to build him a wooden  train track for his imaginative play.  We built a new design, one for each day … now he has expanded his tracks on the living room floor and he is beginning to add buildings and people.

His Passion for trains is growing stronger than ever.IMG_0689

Now that he is old enough to build things with me,  I wanted to begin a DIY  homemade toy train project with him.   There are lots of project packages available but they are all over the budget I have planned for these types of family activity.

I am STILL in the process of researching and finding my materials online.  I am not too happy with the things I have for now.   I will blog about them soon.
