This has been my ongoing project with my son for past two weeks. He developed his new fascinations for clips, clothes pins, and magnet clips.
He pinches his clothes, his sister, his toys, furniture and the list goes on… After I got over my frustration, I realized this is a great opportunity to develop his hand strength for printing practice and he can get ready for his study skills.
These are few activities I found on the web.
Use Clips As Base for Picture People
You can use the family pictures to make ” Action Figures” for train table, legos, blocks, or game boards.
You can use index cards and write numbers on it.
Clothes Pin Giraffe @ busybeekidscraft.com
I think I will make him use his fingers to print the dots… messy, oh but fun!
Fries Game @ mamabeefromthehive. blogspot.com
I know, I know… its not clip game, but it was so darn cute!
Dinosaur @ notimeforflashcards.com
You can even write numbers on the clothes pins to show number sequence
Name Game @ toddlerapproved.com
If your child has many letters in their name, you can use a snake or a caterpillar
Shape Matching @1plus1plus1eguals1.net
Shape cutouts from a cardboard or construction paper work well too
It doesn’t have to be this fancy, you can draw on the dots with markers
Too Darn Cute ! @ ittybittylove.blogspot.com
I’ve seen different animals with pincher grip
These are images I found… Thank You for posting These great ideas!
Clothes line with felt clothes or Barbie clothes
Food color ice cube boats … oh, I already see so many possibilities!
Shoebox color matching
Pipe cleaner color rings
These require little preparation time for you but I think it will be all worth it in the end!
