Lovers Reunited

Lovers Reunited

Elephants are her first love. She was first introduced to them by her dad at the hospital nursery.  During spring, we made it our  family ritual to visit the elephants at the local zoo every year.  But for the past two years, our local zoo was remodeling the elephant exhibit  and we could not see them.  Last night, I received a message in my email about the exhibit opening today. When she heard the news, she couldn’t hold back the excitement … she was the first to wake this morning and packed her backpack with things we will need for the picnic at the zoo. There were a large crowd of people gathered for the same activity but she did not mind the long lines or the  crowd.
